Dear Friends, We made it home safely. After trekking around the midwest in a rented 12 passenger van (with one seat removed), it is fair to say we are changed men. We saw many things and made many friends, but we also faced many obstacles. The road made us tough (except for Eric). |

Thanks to all of the bands, venues and friendly folks who helped to make all of the shows possible--and to everyone who came out, listened to us play and had a very reasonably priced beer with us. Our parents can rest assured that we ate, drank and slept well. Since coming home, we've been gearing up for a special NYC show! Jezebelmusic.com has selected The Secret Life of Sofia to be their August Feature. They've written some nice words about the band, taken some new photos of our collective handsomeness (see one below), and there's even a video interview coming soon (with an exclusive rooftop performance of "Outside")... |

The show is this Thursday, which also happens to be Eric's birthday! Come celebrate: Thursday, August 21st 8pm | $8 | 21+ After this show, we'll all be taking a little vacation time. When we get back we'll be working on some new songs, which we hope to debut during CMJ week in october!
